She remembers everything!

The words of the Capobianco's as quoted in their local news rag, the "Charleston Post and Courier",  that Veronica "remembered their house! Even her bedroom!"

Was it mentioned Jessica Munday's brother, Dave Munday is a employee there who wrote many stories on Veronica? The Charleston Post and Courier has always reported this case, the way Munday asked them to do, not biased at all is it?

I present to everyone, a photograph from the Post and Courier of Matt and Melanie Capobianco, standing in the bedroom of which Veronica left when her real daddy got custody of her.

Then a news story from the same paper, showing the room they claim she remembers:

The only thing I can see that might be similar is Melanie's frumpy style of dressing.

  1. One thing I've learned about young children - fantasy and reality are interchangeable.

Ask them if they remember something and they might give you a truthful answer or they might tell you what they think you're expecting to hear.

Do you remember? Am I supposed to remember? Well then, yes.

And if she remembers South Carolina - how much of her life and family in Oklahoma is she remembering and asking about on a daily basis? And what are they telling her?

Children learn pretty quickly which topics are open for discussion. You know all those happy adoptees who have "no interest"? Many of them have learned not to ask questions as it upsets their aparents.

  2. If you recall, the Brown family made a comment that the Capobiancos hid pictures of themselves in some of the toys they sent to Dusten when Veronica was at home with him. I guess they thought she would find them and let everyone know that they were her "real" mommy and daddy. What this tells me is that Mel C is particularly scary, as a psychologist who specializes in child issues (I hope I'm remembering correctly here) if she thought that a two-year old was going to recognize them from their pictures, as she didn't remember them when she saw them in person. They see only what they want to believe, starting with the most basic lie of Veronica's adoption...that she needed them.
